With their two year anniversary right around the corner I’m excited to tell you about a local restaurant that sits directly on Lake Eustis called Fish Camp. When I sit down for dinner I prefer to have my cocktail or glass of wine in hand (with a water of course) before getting into the really good conversation. So, to follow that order let’s start with drinks: I am so very pleased and impressed to see the efforts made towards having a full cocktail menu appropriately titled ‘Loco for Local Spirits’ with spirits used from local purveyors only. It feels like your doing something a little bit good when you have a nice drink that also supports your local economy. The same holds true to many of the beers offered. I should also mention that the drink prices here are very reasonable. At any time you can get a delicious margarita for $5 and on Thursdays they are only $1.99 with a food purchase. Insane-I know!

My husband raves about the fish tacos which offer the perfect amount of flakiness and flavor wrapped in a flour tortilla. Seafood is the star here and this casual restaurant also offers sandwiches, salads and burgers for those who don’t enjoy eating from the sea. There really is something for everyone and with endless water views, it doesn’t get much better.

Come by boat or car as there is plenty of parking for both. This restaurant sits right off 441 which is a busy road so if your sitting outside your likely to hear road noise. I find that after a margarita or two it completely dissipates. It’s like magic.
